So....it's not technically Fall yet, but September always feels like Fall to me. Plus it is pretty darn cold here in BC right now. Sunny, but chilly willy.
My baby girl starts kindergarten next week. I have major mixed feelings...I'm excited cuz she's excited, I know she is going to love it, she can't wait to see her preschool friends and meet some new ones, she is sooooooooo ready....but I am not. If I could have her stay a baby forever I would. I'm selfish like that.
We are getting a new, stainless steel, front loader washer and dryer on Thursday! Didn't think I would EVER get excited about washing machines, but I soooo am! They look hot, and I'm sure they'll do a better job than the crap we had before! We are getting new ones because my old washer literally blew up, it was on fire and black smoke was billowing out of it! It was really scary and majorly stinky. We really didn't need a new dryer but figured we may as well get matching ones. So $2000 later I am going to have some big loads of yummy smelling laundry!
My Loralai gets her cast off today! She is soooooo excited and I can't wait to submerge her WHOLE body in the tub tonight! I just haven't felt like she has been perfectly clean these last 6 weeks! Just in time for kindergarden!! Expect some kindie pictures and more sappiness here for the next week or so!

I would be excited too! I have a bad feeling we are going to be needing new ones soon too. Ours were a wedding gift (almost a decade ago) so I guess they could kick the bucket anytime.
And I have those same shoes. We seriously are the same person. ;)

Oh no kindergarden! It must be horrible, I cannot imagine letting Emily out of my sight at the moment for 10 mins, let alone a full day. What will you do!
Shame about the washer, my tumber dryer has died on me now. Just when I need it the most!!!
i know i will feel the same way when christian goes to kindergarten. and i am jealous of your front loaders! the amount of laundry i do a week is scary times!
those front loaders look so cool! i love the idea that you can do way more laundry in one load and you use less detergent than a plain old washer.

I would be SO pumped to get a new washer/dryer. We got a new dryer a couple years ago - ours was smoking, etc. too - not fun! Wish we would have done the washer too and gotten a set.
