We had a dumping of snow last weekend! About 1 foot, and the girls were in snowball heaven! We made snow angels, a snowman, had snowball fights, and Daddy pulled them round in the toboggan. A perfect snowy family weekend!
Loralai had her first ever haircut! I was going to wait until she went to kindergarten, but she decided for herself it was time for a trim. My Mom cut about 4 inches off! I was soooo sad! Her hair had never even been trimmed before, and I was sad to think it was her little newborn baby hair that was coming off! Of course I kept all the curls and will put some in her baby book and some on a scrapbook page!
We've been having so much fun with our puppies. Dressing them up and putting them under the tree! We have all but one spoken for, so we are thinking of keeping her. It just seems right! We've named her Fancy, and she is such a sweetheart.

I just caught up on your blog. Sorry I haven't been around, but just haven't been in the bloggin mood the last few weeks. Love your puppy. I think you should keep Fancy! I mean, hello, she has a cool name and she's super cute. =)
I LOVE the snow pictures. It was actually 80 degrees today--nice weather, but NOT Christmas weather. :-)
Hi Anne,
Thanks for stopping by my blog :) I love reading Lynn's blog too!!!!
WOW...your little girl's hair is GORGEOUS!!! It must have been tough to watch her getting it cut :( But it still looks BEAUTIFUL :)
THat puppy is adorable!!!!
I had a hard time telling what kind of puppies they were, until I read one was named "Barky Von Schnauzer"!
I have a mini Schnauzer that is 6 months old named Harley....He is a true American son, born on the fourth (alright the third) of July. I love to tease him and call him Barky!
As to kids and haircuts....my oldest daughter is 13 and we have never trimmed more than a few inches at a time, but she has decided that after the first of the year, she want s shorter cut and she will donate her hair to Locks of Love (to make wigs for children who have lost their hair to disease or chemotherapy). I can't watch, I will cry!!!!!!!!!!
Merry Christmas!
