sweet friends

I got this adorable package in the mail from my best friend Jen who lives in Alberta. It was an early Mother's Day gift. She has 4 children of her own. She is such a sweet, thoughtful girl. She went out and bought this gift for all of her 'mother' friends! I thought that was such a sweet idea!

The gift was a package of 2 green tea blossoms, and a little tin full of wild flower seeds. SO cute. Has anyone tried the green tea blossoms? They are so cool, you drop them into your cup of boiled water, and they bloom! It is so cool, you can different colors, and some look like little orchids, it's soooo cool. And I'm really excited to scatter the wild flower seeds with my girls! They love to plant things and watch them grow. They know that Jesus makes everything grow, so they pray that Jesus will make them grow fast and big for them! It's so cute!

My hubby won't be here for Mother's Day. I'm really disappointed, but he has to go away to work. THat's okay, I'm having a dinner here for my Mom and my brothers will be coming too, so at least I won't be all alone!

I'm going to work on my journal cards today.

My sister in law had her first baby the other day. We were at the hospital for 16 hours! She was in labor for 24, poor girl. Ended up havign a c-section. They have a beautiful baby girl, Adrianna. She is so sweet, and looks a little bit like our Nalaya.
