a dancing ballerina

Loralai started her first dance class last Friday. (She is the one on the far right!) She loves it so much and seems somewhat of a natural. This was the first setting she was in with other children and having to listen to a teacher, and she did awesome. She actually was the only one to fully listen to the teacher, pay attention, and do what she was told. I was so impressed, and so proud of her!

Now, the only problem, is it's REALLY hard to get a decent photo in their dance class! I'm so bummed, out, but I've got 6 more tries, so I'll wait til the end to scrapbook it!

I really thought the above pic was going to be clear and kind of artsy, but once it was on my computer, I was disappointed. The 2 pics are the same, but I just used the fill light button to lighten it up a bit (the top pic is the edited one) Does andyone have any tips on editing dark photos and does anyone have any tips on shooting in dark light? My flash made the color even worse... I guess I need to get out my little canon book and do some research!

K girlfriend the picture is totally sweet! i had the same problem even shooting pictures in the house had me challenged I got myself a 50mm 1.4 lens and you wouldn't believe the results... I love it and works great in low light situations. It is a little bit expensive though so you hav to decide how bad you need it! very cute though!

These pics are beautiful...for low light situations I always have my camera setting on ISO, (actually pretty much always shoot on this setting), and I would take the shot with the natural light behind me, (if at all possible), so that the shot would utilize the natural lighting...love shots that utilize outdoor lighting, even from a window! But, regardless...these shots are TOO precious as is! :)
